Renowned for his exceptional skills as a producer and director, Mr. Sherpa has helmed iconic television shows such as War of DJ, The Flop Show, Cyber Sansaar—Nepal’s pioneering gadgets and gizmos program—and Little Champs, the country’s first reality show from a private channel, leaving an indelible mark on the history of Nepali television. A graduate in Digital Filmmaking from the prestigious SAE Institute, Mr. Sherpa has excelled in both national and international projects, collaborating with diverse production teams worldwide. His dedication to impactful storytelling was especially evident during the 2015 Nepal earthquake, when he worked alongside CNN’s award-winning correspondents Ivan Watson and Will Ripley to deliver vital stories and visuals from the ground. As a freelance contributor, he continues to provide CNN with compelling video footage, still images, and narratives from Nepal.
