Phurba Sherpa, a distinguished Nepali World record-holder, stands as a luminary in the field of media, showcasing over 15 years of profound experience. Recognized for his outstanding skills as a producer and director, Mr. Sherpa has helmed iconic shows such as War of DJ, The Flop Show, Cyber Sansaar (Nepal's pioneering gadgets and gizmos show), and Little Champs (Nepal's first reality show on a private channel), leaving an indelible mark on the history of Nepali Television. A graduate in Digital Filmmaking from the esteemed SAE Institute in Australia, Mr. Sherpa has not only excelled in national projects but has also contributed to numerous international endeavors, collaborating with diverse crews. His commitment to journalism and storytelling was particularly evident during the 7.8-magnitude Earthquake in Nepal in 2015, where he collaborated with international correspondents Ivan Watson and Will Ripley, delivering crucial content. Operating as a freelance producer, Mr. Sherpa consistently provides CNN with impactful video footage, still pictures, and stories from Nepal. His extensive portfolio boasts over 150 music videos, TVCs, documentary films, and corporate videos, showcasing his prowess as a highly accomplished producer and director. Having served as the Director of Reality TV Idea Studio Nepal Season 5 and Band Champion Nepal. Additionally, he takes pride in his role as the producer and director of the show Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya, acknowledged by the World Book of Records, London, for achieving the distinction of being the highest altitude television talk show, filmed at 5550 meters at Everest Base Camp.
